Guest Post on Travel Pass Mag
Guest Post in the form of a Queenstown photo journal is now up on Travel Pass Magazine, hope you enjoy 🙂
Thanks to Elisabeth for her feedback and being a pleasure to work with!
Also can’t forget Chris, who collaborated with me and contributed some of the
better and more professionally taken photographs you’ll see there. You’ll find him on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/chrismanuel/
I’ve been pretty terrible at updating this space but I’m trying to get back into writing. A big part of the problem is me never picking up the pen to begin with – or writing a sentence and automatically thinking it’s all sorts of terrible.
So this is me trying, and it’s been helpful to have someone to write things for, because that actually pushes me to do it, and get some feedback on what works and what doesn’t.
It’s strange, but when I went back to New Zealand the second time round, I said that it was because I was looking for inspiration to write, and truth be told, I never really found it – except right at the end when I was churning out pseudo-poetry during lunch breaks, because the people I met inspired me and I really wanted to remember all the quirky characters and little moments I was grateful for.
For all the travel-related content I put out, whether it’s in the form of writing or photographs, I hope they inspire you to want to know more about the places I’m telling you about, and want to visit those places yourself. If I can successfully convey how a place made me feel/think/learn/grow/fall in love with it, then I think I’ve accomplished what I’ve set out to do.
So.. more updates coming soon-ish?
